From April till August had me distributing food and medical supplies and seed throughout Ukrainian frontlines. From Adiivka to deep in the Donbas to areas in Zaporhizia. Kupiansk Kherson to name just a few. Greeted with smiles despite overwhelming conditions. Under fire almost every day in the field. Missiles dropping so often it became a hard pulse.

Seniors living in apartment complex basements. To solo women determined to keep their home and garden despite the ongoing barrage. I even saw a construction style hard hat hanging on a nail outside the door to one woman's garden. And more than once when I asked about possible evacuation , I received this as a reply. "This soil this home is my blood and my bone. ..I cannot leave...besides where would I go?!"
